Actually, I want to write about vacation. Just like the name of this blog :)
Hmm.. It takes so long for me to start writing about my vacation (actually, it's a duty) but you can say it's a vacation too. I often have a duty to go around my country, Indonesia. I don't have a good camera so I just took all the pictures through my hand phone camera. It's okay, because I just want to share some experiences with you (my blog) :)
The first island I went is Kalimantan Island. That time I went to Banjarmasin to do some duties. I think It's around March, 2011. I delivered some drafts, mails, invitation and questionnaire to Quality Assurance of Education Institution in South Kalimantan. I went there alone. I spent my first night in the small inn near the Institution.
The second day, I went to the Institution and finished all my work there. I went to Martapura market in the afternoon. The market sold many kinds of gemstone, you can use them as a jewelry. I don't really like to use jewelry, that's why I felt weird to go there, walking around, aimless, but I had to buy something as a souvenir. So I bought two purses, which are decorated with beads, hand phone chase, and also some bead bracelets. Ah, I bought two pendants for necklace that made by gemstone, brown and purple, they look beautiful ^^
I really enjoyed my first time going "abroad" alone that time. The only problem I have is a suffer from time difference, you use to called it as "jet lag". I often woke up in the middle of the night and thinking about, "what time is it now, here?" "what time is it now in my hometown?" then I had a headache and sleeping problem. But as a whole, I enjoyed my time in Banjarmasin :)
I took some pictures that time, but I forgot where I save them so i can't post them here. I remember that I took pictures of the airport, small plane, Martapura market and Soto Banjar. I will try to take more pictures in every place I visit.
